IT Help Desk Technician

Pay: $20–$25/hr DOE · Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with occasional after-hours or weekend work as needed

About the role
We're looking for a friendly, dependable help desk tech to keep our people and equipment running. You'll be the first person employees call when their computer, printer, tablet or connection isn't working. This is an entry-to-mid level role. A good attitude and solid troubleshooting matter more to us than years of experience.
What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and fix everyday issues with Windows PCs, Microsoft 365/Office, printers, tablets and phones
• Set up new computers and devices for employees, and swap or retire old ones
• Help with basic network problems: Wi-Fi, connections, network printers
• Track requests in our ticketing system and keep users updated
• Show employees how to use their equipment and software
• Keep equipment records up to date
• Help with IT projects as needed

What we're looking for

• 1+ year of IT support, help desk or computer repair experience. Strong hands-on experience from school or home also counts.
• Comfortable with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addresses, Wi-Fi, connecting devices)
• Patient, clear communicator who's good with non-technical people
• Reliable, organized and able to juggle several requests at once
• Available for occasional after-hours or weekend work

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+ or Network+
• Experience with a ticketing system
• Experience with printers, tablets or mobile devices in a business setting
• Network cabling experience (CAT5e/CAT6)

Physical requirements
Sit, stand, walk, bend and kneel occasionally; lift 15–20 lbs.
