Conduct routine and advanced laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologywhile adhering to established protocols. Verify results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary. Document all procedures in detail, mentor new staff or trainees, and uphold laboratory quality standards. Ensure a tidy, safe workspace by following health regulations and accreditation requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire. Maintain active certification throughout employment. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with healthcare teams. Independent judgment and problem-solving aptitude, particularly in dynamic or high-pressure situations.
