Quality InspectorShift: 1st ShiftJob OverviewWe are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for inspecting components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements. We are open to candidates with either mechanical inspection or electronic inspection experience.ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process, first article, and final inspectionsInspect components and assemblies for quality and complianceRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsUtilize inspection tools and measuring equipment to verify dimensions and qualityDocument inspection results and maintain accurate quality recordsIdentify and report non-conforming materials or productsWork closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standardsFollow all aerospace and company quality proceduresQualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsExperience using inspection tools and measuring equipmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExperience in an aerospace manufacturing environment is a plusAbility to maintain accurate documentation and recordsStrong communication and teamwork skillsWhat We OfferOpportunity to work within the aerospace industryClean and professional manufacturing environmentLong-term career growth opportunitiesTeam-oriented culture focused on quality and precisionJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainview, NY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
