Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15). 36 or 48 hours accepted, with contract lengths of 13 to 20 weeks.

This position may require floating to other units and requires 5-6 weekend shifts, equating to every other weekend.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Experience in neuro care preferred, but first-time travelers are accepted.

Knowledge of medication systems (e.g., Pyxis) and documentation systems (e.g., EPIC) is preferred.

Must pass EKG testing prior to start.

Provide high-quality patient care with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Monitor and manage patient health, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.

Perform and document assessments of patients efficiently and accurately.

RTO after booking is limited to a maximum of 7 days. Additional call-offs or RTO can result in contract cancellation. Contract staff may be required to report during catastrophic events or mass casualties.
