Job TitlePerforms inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. Completes and approves final product inspection prior to release for distribution. May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays.Job DescriptionDuties may include:Follows written process/assembly documentation.Inspects final product prior to release for distributionMay be cross-trained in additional production areas for final product inspection.Adheres to all safety requirements.Adheres to approved quality documents and maintains quality records per procedure.Maintains a clean work area.May assist in training other employees on QA inspector responsibilities.May assist in preventative maintenance of standard production equipment.May complete process audits and identify and contribute to improvements in area.Skills, Knowledge, Training and CertificationsProficient in a flow of manufacturing and test requirement documents.Basic understanding of GMP and GDPBasic understanding of several business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow, Statistical Process Control, Process Documentation, Empowerment, Six Sigma methods, Quality and/or Cost Improvement.Experience Level with Business ToolsFamiliar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.Education and ExperienceHigh School Degree or equivalent1+ years of experienceEnvironment and Physical RequirementsEmployee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation.Heavy work that will occasionally 1-33%, require employee to lift/move up to 70 lbs.
