Must-Have: Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Must have experience with orthopedic and neuro-stroke patients.

Description: Travelers are required to work all scheduled shifts. The facility cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside of approved time off. Travelers can have one of three major holidays off and must work two holidays (eve/day). The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-5. First-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend requirements include every other weekend. Travelers are asked to be flexible with scheduling. No on-call duties are required. Clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs. The float pool covers all acute care and telemetry units, including behavioral health. Experience with telemetry nursing is required. Floating during a 12-hour shift may involve working 4 hours in one area and 8 hours in another. Strong time management skills are essential. The facility uses Epic for charting. The facility has a diverse patient population, caring for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census varies by unit. Interdisciplinary support includes various departments working collaboratively. Travelers must have experience in managing dysrhythmias and postoperative care for cardiac and neurosurgery. Peripheral nerve catheters are commonly used on orthopedic floors. Travelers must comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
