Electromechanical Coil Winding Specialist

Ready to keep heavy industry running?Join a global steel leader where your coil rewinding expertise directly supports production and service teams across the mill.Ask yourself:Do you enjoy hands-on work with electric motors, generators, and transformers?Are you comfortable working around hot, heavy, or sharp materials and hazardous chemicals?Can you thrive in environments that can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy?Are you prepared to contribute across multiple areas of a large mill, sometimes near molten metal?Core responsibilitiesDisassemble and remove old or damaged copper windings.Rewind coils using insulated copper wire; apply insulation and secure coils properly.Solder/weld electrical connections.Reassemble equipment and verify correct operation.Test motors for proper function, including voltage, resistance, and balance.Assist with inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.Perform manual labor and lift more than 25 lbs.Safety and PPEOur core value is safety.
