Description: This position requires four 10-hour shifts from 06:45 AM to 05:15 PM. The role includes one call night per week and one weekend call every four weeks. The Operating Room unit consists of 15 ORs and one hybrid room shared with the Cath Lab. The average number of cases per day is 45, encompassing both the operating room and vascular operating room. The candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar environment. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The patient population includes a broad range of surgical cases, excluding transplants. Supporting staff within the department includes Charge RNs, Nurses, CNAs, CSTs, and a Charge PM. Technology and equipment used in the unit includes EMR, IV Pumps, Med Dispensing, Monitors, Cell Saver, Belmont Rapid Infuser, Glucometer, and Davinci Robotics. Floating to other units is not required. Weekend rotations are required based on departmental needs. On-call requirements include one day a week (Monday to Friday) and one weekend every four weeks (Saturday or Sunday). Holiday expectations may be around 50%, depending on departmental needs. The scheduling cycle operates on a four-week basis, with schedules being provided eight weeks in advance.
