Assistant Professor of Marketing

Lake Erie College, a small, co-educational, four-year, independent liberal arts college located in Painesville, OH, 30 miles east of Cleveland, invites applications for the full-time, tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Marketing.

Position Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Teaches courses at the undergraduate level across the marketing curriculum.
• Teaches additional business-related courses in areas of qualification and interest.
• Aids in the development of curriculum to evaluate and expand marketing offerings
• Participates in department-level planning and development activities
• Develops professional networks, including community and institutional relationships, to form partnerships and enhance internship and experiential learning opportunities for students as well as potential job opportunities.
• Provides academic and career advising of students
• Provides instruction at the undergraduate level using collaborative, instructional technology, and innovative methods.
• Provides assessment of students and supports College assessment needs.
• Continues expanding knowledge base with continued professional development.
• Provides general service to the College, including college and faculty committee assignments.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications & Key Competencies:

• Doctorate in Marketing. ABD and Master's (with experience) considered.
• In-person teaching required.
• College level teaching experience.
• Industry experience a plus.
• Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts college environment.
• Growth mindset and institutional teamwork ethic.
• Creative, strategic, and thoughtful.
