ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Toledo, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Adult Med Surg Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15). Required to work every other weekend, specifically Friday and Saturday evenings. Job Description The position is for a Registered Nurse in a mixed unit encompassing Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Med-Surg Telemetry, and Med-Surg. The RN will be responsible for the care of adult patients, managing diverse diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, gastrointestinal issues, and others. Candidates should have experience in both telemetry and medical-surgical settings. Responsibilities Monitor and manage telemetry patients. Administer medications and IV therapies. Provide care for patients post-bariatric and hepatobiliary surgeries. Perform wound care and manage wound vacs. Manage feeding tubes and conduct insulin drip titrations. Respond to emergency situations by interpreting dysrhythmias. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required. ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications required. Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory. Must be willing to float within service line and potentially between multiple facilities.
