School Bus Drivers

NOW HIRING: SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS Join the Vineland Public Schools Team & Drive Our Future! Must be 21 years old to apply No Experience? No Problem! We Train You! We are looking for reliable, community-minded individuals to safely transport our students. If you have a clean driving record and a passion for helping kids, we will provide all the training you need to succeed.

What We Offer:

• Paid CDL Training: Earn $21.00 / hour while you learn.
• Full Certification: We train you to obtain your CDL Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Free DOT Physical: The required Department of Transportation physical is 100% paid for by the district.

Salary: Starting at $21/hr. (based upon UAW contract)

Benefits: Full-time staff are eligible for medical, prescription, and dental. Sick and personal days are included based upon the negotiated UAW contract. 184 days-Civil Service position.

Position Summary The School Bus Driver safely transports students to and from school, school-sponsored activities, and approved district events while maintaining a safe, orderly, and positive environment on the bus. Drivers are responsible for following all district policies, state regulations, and transportation safety procedures while providing courteous and professional service to students, families, and staff. Vineland Public Schools provides paid CDL training and support for qualified candidates seeking certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Possession of valid N.J. driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
