Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Night (19:00 - 07:30)

Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend and holiday coverage is required every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide care to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, administering various therapies under the supervision of medical staff. The role includes critical responsibilities in patient assessment, therapeutic treatment, and collaborative care planning.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients' respiratory conditions and treatment requirements.
• Administering respiratory therapy treatments and medications.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Current Pennsylvania state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
• Credentialed as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
