Banner University Medicine Tucson is actively interviewing Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) to join our Division of Neonatology at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. The role supports a Level IV Neonatology team covering up to 20 patients on the resident-led team and up to 16 patients on the NNP-led team. Duties include attending high‑risk deliveries, teaching and performing procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, arterial lines, PICCs, ventilator management, and serving as an NRP instructor. The NNP works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Work Schedule & Description Full‑time (1.0 FTE) Flexible shifts – team self‑schedules. 8‑ and 13‑hour shifts available Monday‑Sunday with day and night coverage. Charting assistance – attendings write daily notes. Teaching and research opportunities. Multiple residents, attendings, and other NNPs on each shift for comprehensive support. Qualifications Experienced (2+ yrs neonatal) candidates preferred; new graduates welcome. AZ license, or ability to obtain by start date. Current BLS and NRP certification. Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance. Waived for new graduates. Location Banner‑University Medical Center Tucson, 1625 N. Campbell Avenue, Tucson, AZ.
