CNC MACHINIST/PROGRAMMER

Halpern Titanium, Inc. is on the search for a top-notch CNC Machinist/Programmer for our fast-paced CNC production machine shop. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist, operating vertical and horizontal machining centers with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls. A candidate must be highly skilled in all CNC operations, program editing and set-ups. A strong knowledge of appropriate tooling and machining technologies is essential.
The second critical requirement for this key position is proficiency with Mastercam 9 and 10 Level 3 and Solidworks. This candidate must have proven experience is designing and programming production fixtures for machining aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, G10 and Carbon Fiber parts.
This is NOT an entry level position- the candidate must be able to hit the ground running, combining Mastercam programming and CNC machining background.
Responsibilities Include:
- Programming and proving out first articles from files provided by customers
- Designing and machining fixtures for high-volume production
- Training CNC operators on these new programs
- Following up on all machining tasks to insure quality is maintained by th eoperators
- Providing material and tool lists, dimensional prints, inspection sheets and samples for operators
- Working with management team to establish production goals
Halpern Titanium works with TRM Knives, a rapidly growing small batch production knife company located in Three Rivers, MA with a worldwide reputation for excellence. A successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of the total manufacturing process. We need to scale up our production and meet the ever-increasing demand for our TRM knives.
The first shift position is full-time Monday through Friday- approximately 45 hours weekly. Halpern offers a generous benefit package including 3% matched IRA, 100% company paid individual health insurance, disability insurance, 5 sick days, 10 paid holidays and accrued vacation time. Starting pay is $35.00-$40.00/hr.
