Physical Therapist 2 Department: James | SSCBC Oncology Rehabilitation Location: James Outpatient Care (1043) Job Description The Rehabilitation and Lymphedema Team Member is a licensed physical therapist that works within the oncology team structure to offer outpatient rehabilitation and lymphedema services. Services are provided at SSCBC and other James Ambulatory sites and may require travel during the work day. The team member reports to the Rehab Services Manager and collaborates with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Assess patients and establish plans of care in collaboration with the team. Provide a wide variety of treatment techniques, education, and support to patients and families. Facilitate continuing care planning and review quality of services. Participate in outcomes management activities. Supervise physical therapy assistants and volunteers. Coordinate with attending and resident physicians, nurses, Social Work, and Patient Care Resource Managers to assure coordinated services and programs. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's/Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited school or equivalent combination of education or experience. Currently licensed in the state of Ohio as a Physical Therapist. 0 years of relevant experience required; 0‑2 years preferred. Advanced knowledge of oncology patient care and competence in evaluation and treatment of lymphedema with complete decongestive therapy (CDT, MLD). Position Details Position Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift Benefits Medical, dental and vision coverage. Paid time off, including sick and vacation time and 11 holidays.
