Job Title

RN – Medical Surgical / Telemetry, Float Pool

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as part of a float pool
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips to monitor patient cardiac status
• Adapt quickly to the workflows, patient populations, and protocols of up to five different units
• Administer and manage intravenous therapies in accordance with unit standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Demonstrated ability to independently read telemetry strips; must pass an on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with a score of 84% or higher (two attempts permitted)
• Proficiency with Meditech and EPIC electronic health record systems
• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to adapt quickly to different unit environments with minimal orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
• Prior experience floating across Medical Surgical and Telemetry units
