Minneapolis, MN – Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) | Make an Impact While You Explore

Quick Glance:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday (5 days/week) - Day Shift: 8am - 4:30pm
• Weekend Coverage: Possible (scheduled in advance)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (typical)
• Setting: LTC / SNF / TCU
• Patient Volume: 10–20 patients per day
• Floating: May be required to nearby facilities

Scope of Role:

• Help patients regain independence and improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and create personalized occupational therapy plans
• Provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility, coordination, and daily function
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and adaptive techniques
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy teams

Must-Have Credentials:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state OT license (required prior to start)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC, if required by facility)
• Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Experience in LTC, SNF, or TCU settings

Preferred Skills:

• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
• Ability to manage a consistent patient caseload efficiently
• Adaptability to new environments and clinical settings
