Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities Coordinate day‑to‑day activities of maintenance workers to ensure production equipment, machinery, and facilities operate reliably and safely. Monitor workers responsible for the maintenance of production equipment and related systems. Assist with root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective fixes. Oversee maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment. Manage the maintenance department and approve preventative maintenance documents. Schedule and manage preventative maintenance activities and maintain a proper stock of parts. Supervise outside contractors performing installations and projects at the facility. Interface with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met. Hire, train, coach, and review performance of maintenance employees. Collaborate with HR on employee discipline, terminations, and recruitment. Oversee safety team activities and enforce safety requirements. Build a positive work environment and recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase shop, department, or crew efficiency. Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving those problems. Maintain time and maintenance records. Develop capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times. Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials. Maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Minimum: 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. Minimum: 4 years of experience in a maintenance position. Minimum: 4 years of experience managing people or projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education). Required ability to lift items up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Preferred: 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. Education & Certifications Minimum: Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related vocational studies.
