Medical Laboratory Technologist
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist for a full-time position in a Critical Access Hospital laboratory. This role is focused on performing a variety of routine to high-complexity tests in a fast-paced computerized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine to complex laboratory tests and analyses.
- Perform analyzer maintenance, including calibration and quality control procedures.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment in a computerized setting.
- Work effectively within a team to ensure timely and accurate lab results.
Working Hours
This position offers a unique schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, specifically from Wednesday to Tuesday. Shifts are from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with weekend hours included.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or an Associate's degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
- Preferred experience with Gel blood bank systems and Roche chemistry analyzers (501, 601).
