RESIDENTIAL FRAMER – DIRECT HIRE

Orange County & Los Angeles County, CA

ORR Construction Company is looking for an experienced Residential Framer to join our construction team. We perform residential new construction, additions, remodels, ADUs, and structural framing projects throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County.

PAY: $35–$48 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

POSITION: Full-Time | Direct Hire
WORK AREA: Orange County & Los Angeles County

Responsibilities

• Perform residential wood framing for new construction, additions, remodels, and ADUs
• Read and interpret architectural and structural plans
• Layout walls, openings, beams, headers, and structural components
• Frame walls, floors, roofs, and other wood-framed structures
• Install structural hardware, connectors, blocking, and bracing
• Work with the project superintendent/PM to maintain the construction schedule
• Follow plans, specifications, building codes, and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Identify framing issues or discrepancies and communicate them to the project team
• Work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential framing experience preferred
• Strong understanding of residential construction and framing methods
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings
• Knowledge of California residential construction practices
• Ability to accurately measure, layout, cut, and install framing materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Must be safety-conscious and quality-oriented

Lead/Journeyman framers with extensive residential experience are encouraged to apply.
