Training Lead
$27 - $30 per hourAltasciences
Training Lead position at Altasciences responsible for developing and delivering training activities for research associates in a GLP-regulated laboratory setting. The role includes hands-on instruction in animal handling, data collection procedures, and mentoring staff while maintaining compliance with laboratory standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct training activities for Scientific Services staff on GLP compliance procedures
- Provide hands-on instruction in animal handling, anesthesia, phlebotomy, and euthanasia techniques
- Perform quality control reviews of data and assess staff training competency uniformly
- Create, review, and revise standard operating procedures and training lesson plans
- Monitor animal behavior and health; communicate training progress to management
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in laboratory or research environment
- LAT certification preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to learn new software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents and industry manuals
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities
Compensation: $27.00–$30.00 per hour
