Part-Time Staff- Clerical Assistant (Financial Aid) This position is designated as a security sensitive position and requires a satisfactory criminal history background check. Position Summary Information Job Description Summary - Duties include clerical/secretarial duties as detailed by supervisor instruction. Required Education - High School graduation or equivalent Required Experience - Experience in office setting; customer service; data entry; public speaking Preferred Education Preferred Experience - Experience in an educational setting; experience with public presentations; experience with data-entry; bilingual in Spanish Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Answering phone calls and responding to messages; processing electronic and paper financial aid applications; scanning student documents into electronic database system; answering student questions pertaining to financial aid; conducting financial aid presentations on-campus as well as to area high schools which will include evenings. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to treat all persons with respect, dignity and justice, without discrimination based upon age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation or gender identity; ability to exercise the highest professional and ethical standards in the use of College time and resources and observe the stated policies and procedures of the College.
