Holy Cross High School is searching for qualified candidates to fulfill a vacancy in their Art Department. *** This is a Short Term Leave Replacement Position*** Candidate would start on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 Candidate will be responsible for teaching:
- Painting & Drawing
- Fashion Illustration
- 3D Design
- Introduction to Art 1
- Plan and implement curriculum aligned with the New York State Learning Standards.
- Tailor curriculum to engage students.
- Design and implement projects that measure progress towards academic standards.
- Participate in the school community and professional development.
- Effectively manage all classes.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) degree in education or a related field.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Photography
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop Suite
- Knowledge of Mechanical Drawing Architecture
