- Start Date: As soon as credentialed.
- Setting: Inpatient and OB/GYN ED coverage in Meridian; 215-bed, Level III hospital.
- Patient Volume: Average of 5-6 ED patients/day; delivery volume varies.
- Job Details: In-house 24-hour call as second call/backup, primarily weekends. Sporadic shifts with no guaranteed schedule; typically 2-3 months' advance notice. Coverage includes unassigned patients and high- and low-risk deliveries. Onsite apartment available during call. No nighttime APP support or supervision responsibilities. Client covers travel using an approved hotel list.
- Client Requirements: Board-certified; Mississippi license or IMLC accepted. Experience with all delivery levels preferred. Local candidates are a plus. Credentialing: approximately 90 days.
- EMR: Epic
- Delta Locum Tenens can assist with travel arrangements and credentialing and will cover malpractice.
