Overview
MRI Technologist – MRI specialty travel assignment in New Lenox, IL. The position runs for 13 weeks starting June 22, 2026, on a 4x10 night shift in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,315 to $2,404. Guaranteed hours are not provided. This is a travel - temporary assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and ED patients of all ages
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and provide education and instruction as appropriate
- Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists as needed; adhere to MRI safety standards
- Assist radiologists with MR procedures and supervise assigned tasks as applicable
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment and supplies; perform QC checks and equipment warm-up
- Evaluate MRI images for technical quality and ensure accurate documentation in the hospital information system
- Maintain communication with patients and staff, ensuring courteous, respectful service and adherence to ARRT standards
- Report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor and follow department policies for safety and quality control

Requirements
- 1 year of recent GE MRI experience (required)
- ARRT Certification (MRI) required (will not consider AMRIT)
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work nights and participate in weekend shifts as described
- Experience adhering to MRI safety standards and age-related protocols
- Competence with patient prep, contrast administration per policy, and collaboration with radiology staff
