Personal Banking - Relationship Banker I

About the Role We’re seeking a Relationship Banker I who will build and maintain client relationships, provide exemplary service, and develop a deep understanding of mortgage, business, and installment loan options. This entry-level role focuses on relationship building, client education, and support across the organization. Responsibilities Work with others by building and maintaining relationships. Operate as an effective communicator, stimulating and motivating others while being responsive to their needs and concerns. Perform detailed work quickly, correctly, and efficiently within established guidelines. Be an active participant in maintaining guidelines, structure, and established policies. Provide client service, introduce clients to products, services and digital solutions using tablets, smart phones and laptops. Demonstrate strong knowledge of mortgage, business and installment loan options and provide a broad base of financial and credit services. Assist other departments as needed, build rapport with clients and associates, and treat others with respect and consideration. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Desired Skills Previous banking, cash handling or financial service experience. 6+ months of demonstrated successful sales experience. Bilingual language skills. Passionate and motivated self‑starter. Passion for educating clients on banking products and digital technologies available at the bank. Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately. Ability to think logically to analyze situations and make sound decisions. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as cash back and percentages. Work Environment Commitment to meritocracy and supporting associates in growing within their role. Ability to grasp, push, pull, lift, bend, raise and hold hands and arms overhead as may be required for certain tasks. Willingness to work overtime up to approximately 5% of hours. Flexible scheduling as business needs allow. Incentive & Benefits This role is eligible for a scorecard‑based incentive plan, which can significantly increase overall compensation. Incentives are earned quarterly based on performance against defined metrics.
