Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Reconstruction Field Technician to perform repair and reconstruction work on residential and commercial properties damaged by water, fire, mold, or other disasters. This role works closely with the Project Manager to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards while providing excellent customer service onsite.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform reconstruction and repair work per the approved scope of work
• Complete tasks such as drywall installation and texturing, trim work, door and cabinet installation, painting, and finishing
• Perform minor electrical work including ceiling fan installation, replacing switches/outlets, and basic circuit checks (as permitted)
• Complete punch-list items and final repairs to ensure project closeout
• Protect surrounding areas to prevent secondary damage and maintain a clean job site
• Ensure all work meets company safety and quality standards
• Document job progress, labor, materials, and notes accurately in DASH
• Take required beginning- and end-of-day photos using CompanyCam
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, and property managers while onsite
• Maintain daily communication with Project Manager and internal team
• Train and support newer technicians as part of team development
• Continuously build skills and expand technical knowledge for career growth

 

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in reconstruction, construction, or restoration work preferred
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional, dependable, and safety-minded
• Comfortable using mobile apps and software (Paylocity, DASH, CompanyCam)
