Position Overview Job Title: Production Operations Specialist (Harness) – Level 3 Location: El Segundo, California Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 AM – 10:00 AM) Workplace: 100% onsite Work Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Top Secret). Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies, improve production efficiency, and optimize product quality. Monitor, assess, and provide status reports on production progress, actions, issue resolution, and support needs. Investigate product defects and production inefficiencies; develop solutions to reduce or mitigate defects. Conduct staffing and cost analyses to support production planning. Coordinate and prepare justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation. Represent manufacturing on production-related issues throughout the organization. Establish and maintain production schedules. Basic Qualifications More than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. More than 1 year of hands‑on experience building wire harnesses. More than 1 year of experience leading teams. More than 1 year of experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher. Experience in the aerospace industry. More than 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel. Experience aggregating, visualizing, and analyzing data (SQL, Excel, Power BI, etc.) to make informed decisions. Additional Information Typical education/experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, typically 6+ years of related work or a greater combination of education and experience.
