Residential Mortgage Compliance Specialist

Job Description First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Compliance Officer to join the Residential Real Estate Team. Responsible for performing various residential mortgage compliance activities, which includes interpreting compliance regulations; creating compliance policies and procedures/job aids for approval and implementation; maintenance of current compliance-related policies and procedures; and performing compliance-related functions such as quality assurance testing and reviews, ad reviews, fulfilling examination and audit requests, etc. Compensation The annual salary range for this role is $63,000 - $80,000/year; commensurate with experience. Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Hours may vary) Responsibilities Responsible for performing various residential mortgage compliance activities, which includes interpreting compliance regulations; creating compliance policies and procedures/job aides for approval and implementation; maintenance of current compliance-related policies and procedures; and performing compliance-related functions such as quality assurance testing and reviews, ad reviews, fulfilling examination and audit requests, etc. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience with lending, compliance laws and regulations, legal field, or auditing. 1+ years HMDA experience JD, CPA, or 2 – 4 years’ work experience in banking industry 2 years of work experience with compliance laws and regulations, legal field, auditing, or underwriting #J-18808-Ljbffr First Hawaiian Bank
