Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Sign Installation Tech for our client. This job involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of indoor and outdoor signage. This role requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

·         Install various types of signage, including channel letters, monument signs, wall signs, vinyl graphics, and digital displays

·         Perform service calls for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of existing signs and lighting systems

·         Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate installations

·         Operate hand and power tools, bucket trucks, lifts, and other equipment safely

·         Ensure all installations meet company standards, local codes, and client specifications

·         Conduct site surveys and assess installation requirements

·         Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs

·         Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers on job sites

·         Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

·         High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred

·         Previous experience in sign installation, electrical work, construction, or a related field strongly preferred

·         Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (low voltage and/or LED systems)

·         Ability to read measurements and use leveling tools accurately

·         Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions

·         Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus, if applicable)

·         Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

·         Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

·         Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

·         Time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team

·         Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment

·         Customer service mindset and professionalism on job sites

·         Frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions

·         Use of ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and bucket trucks

·         Travel to job sites as needed (local or regional)

·         Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

·         Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.

·         Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.

·         Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.

·         Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time

·         Communication skills.
