Join a leading advanced manufacturing team as a skilled Machinist specializing in Mitsui Seiki and Fanuc-controlled equipment. This 2nd shift role (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM) offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-precision projects using state-of-the-art 5-axis milling and turning machines. Responsibilities

- Plan machining operations for high-complexity parts, analyzing engineering drawings and selecting appropriate Mitsui Seiki machines
- Set up, program, and operate 5-axis milling and turning cycles using Fanuc controllers (30i/31i/32i/45i series)
- Write, edit, and debug Fanuc G Code/M Code, including macro programming and post-processor adjustments
- Implement and analyze Renishaw probing cycles for in-process inspection and automated data collection
- Design, fabricate, and install custom tooling and fixturing for multi-axis operations
- Perform complete machine setups, build-to-print production, and precision verification using advanced measurement tools
- Interpret ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards for drawing analysis and tolerance verification
- Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize quality, reduce cycle time, and enhance manufacturability
- Rework non-conforming parts and calibrate machining centers, maintaining accurate adjustment records
- Provide accurate time and cost estimates; support production scheduling and workflow
- Mentor and train junior machinists, sharing best practices in machine operation, programming, and troubleshooting

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years hands-on CNC machining, with 3 years on Mitsui Seiki machines
- At least 2 years operating and programming Fanuc CNC controllers
- Proven expertise setting up and running 5-axis milling and turning on Fanuc-controlled Mitsui Seiki equipment
- Direct experience in Fanuc ISO programming, macro B, canned cycles, and G Code/M Code optimization
- Hands-on proficiency with Renishaw probing within Fanuc programs
- Skilled in reading and interpreting 2D/3D engineering drawings using ANSI Y14.5 standards
- Experience designing and building custom tooling and fixtures for Mitsui Seiki machines
- Proficient in using Renishaw probes, CMMs, laser scanners, micrometers, and calipers
- Strong problem-solving skills for machining and probing issues on Mitsui Seiki platforms
- High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Skills

- Associate's degree or technical certification in Machining or Manufacturing Technology
- Preventive maintenance and basic repairs on Mitsui Seiki equipment
- Experience maintaining comprehensive documentation, setup sheets, and inspection records
- Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, and company safety standards
