Civil Engineer in Worcester

Job Description Graves Engineering, Inc. is a regional civil engineering firm serving Massachusetts. Centrally located in Worcester, we concentrate on providing our clients with quality civil engineering services that address their needs. Our core areas of expertise consist of site engineering, stormwater engineering, water and wastewater engineering, construction observation and administration, and general consulting. We currently have an immediate opportunity for a full-time experienced civil engineer or an entry-level civil engineer and are accepting applications. The projects and work assignments will be varied and will consist of office work and some field work. A selected candidate will perform tasks including design and preparation of plans for commercial, housing, wastewater, water, institutional, municipal and subdivision projects. The candidate will also prepare stormwater management reports, permitting applications, and other supporting documents such as narratives or specifications based upon project deliverables. For our municipal peer review projects, the selected candidate will review plans and supporting documents for compliance with local regulations, state regulations and consistency with accepted engineering practices. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, have strong engineering and communication skills, be attentive to detail, have a desire to continue developing into a valued, well-rounded civil engineer and be willing to work in a casual yet professional office environment.
