• Number of Beds – 29 beds, 4 OR's, 3 PACU Bays, 12 Antepartum rooms and 10 Triage rooms
• Number of Staff – 148
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 22 RN's, 2-3 CST's,, 1 Charge and 1 Flex
  • Night Shift -20 RN's, 1-2CST's, 1 Charge and 1 Flex
• Patient ratios: 2:1
• Type of equipment – Centricity and GE monitors
• EMR – Meditech / CPN

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN
• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Meditech experience
• PACU experience
• OR experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Vaginal and c-sect deliveries, d&c, Hyst, PP tubal, cerclage placement and versions
• High risk OB
