Manufacturing Polisher

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Polisher to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for polishing, grinding, deburring, buffing, and finishing metal components to meet quality and production standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in a manufacturing, machine shop, or production environment and be comfortable using grinders, polishing tools, measuring instruments, and hand tools. Experience working with steel, carbide, or metal parts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain polishing, grinding, buffing, and deburring equipment
• Remove excess material, burrs, and surface imperfections from metal parts
• Polish and finish workpieces according to customer and production specifications
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as gauges and micrometers
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions
• Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed for quality and efficiency
• Lift, position, and secure workpieces using clamps, hoists, or fixtures
• Monitor machine operations and identify production issues or defects
• Select and install tooling and polishing equipment based on production requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous polishing, grinding, deburring, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience working with metal, steel, or carbide materials is a plus
• Ability to use hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments
• Basic blueprint reading skills preferred

2nd Shift Available
Monday - Thursday | 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
