Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager (TM) is the primary driver of new business growth within Mizunos Team
Sports division. Working in partnership with Customer Success Representatives (CSRs), dealers,
promotional partners, and amateur sports organizations, the TM manages opportunities passed
from the CSR and converts them into long-term Mizuno relationships. This role is responsible for
engaging leads, conducting product and uniform solution presentations, negotiating contracts, and
closing new and existing business within an assigned territory. The TM maintains a robust pipeline,
delivers against sales quotas, and consistently represents the Mizuno brand with professionalism,
product expertise, and exceptional relationship-building skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities: Manage the development and execution of sales objectives for the assigned territory. Define and execute account sales plans, meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and
annual sales quotas. Develop and manage a strong sales pipelineprospect, qualify, and move multiple
transactions simultaneously toward closure. Engage and educate prospects on Mizunos value proposition, product features, uniform
solutions, and team programs. Present and demonstrate Mizunos equipment, footwear, and apparel offerings to coaches,
organizations, and dealer networks. Negotiate and close team contracts, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and customer
satisfaction. Maintain detailed pipeline updates, activity logs, revenue forecasts, and closing timelines
within the CRM system. Support dealers and partners by sharing new product information, updated programs, and
seasonal selling strategies. Provide ongoing feedback to management, including objections encountered, market
reactions, pricing challenges, and competitive insights.

Mizuno USA Job Description Build, nurture, and expand strong relationships with existing accounts to encourage
retention and growth. Monitor competitor activity and trends, identifying opportunities and threats within the
territory. Communicate regularly and effectively with management, customers, prospects, CSRs,
and internal support teams. Represent Mizuno professionally at meetings, clinics, tournaments, and trade events as
required. Maintain appropriate knowledge of market conditions, team sports landscapes, and
product category developments.
Required Skills/Abilities: Deep knowledge of the sporting goods retail and team dealer industry Professional presence with the ability to interact with coaches, athletes, administrators,
and dealer partners Strong understanding of equipment, footwear, and apparel in assigned categories Exceptional relationship-building and customer management skills, with the ability to
establish trust and credibility quickly Ability to analyze customer needs, identify selling opportunities, and close deals Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously while thriving in
a team environment Exceptional time-management; able to handle multiple opportunities and deadlines,
manage travel schedules Exceptional organization; able to coordinate transport schedules and support field events Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Familiarity with CRM systems and best practices for pipeline management Must maintain a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and insurable status under both
personal and Mizuno insurance guidelines Must maintain a personal vehicle in good working condition and carry required auto
insurance coverage
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree requiredpreferably in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a
related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 35 years of team sports sales experience within relevant product categories Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

Physical Requirements: Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time across a multi-state territory, sometimes for
extended periods Must be able to drive an automobile for long durations; prolonged periods of sitting,
standing, and walking are expected Regular verbal communication required Specific vision requirements include color vision for product review Lifting up to 50 lbs. and moderately strenuous activity required for event setup, teardown,
and product demonstrations
