Sr EHS Tech

We are seeking a motivated Senior EHS Lead with extensive experience in Safety to support our projects across the DFW area. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a strong background in environmental, health, and safety within construction or industrial environments. As the Senior EHS Lead, you will be responsible for successfully integrating safety initiatives into the functional operation of each project — maintaining the processes and procedures that prevent injuries, ensure compliance with laws and company policies, and minimize the environmental impact of our operations. What YOU get to DO at this growing company Preview projects and project sites before work begins to identify safety-related risks. Visit active project sites to assess ongoing work conditions and ensure compliance. Partner with project management teams and field workers to develop and implement solutions to safety-related issues on project sites. Maintain safety-related documentation, including OSHA 300 logs. Maintain safety training certifications, including OSHA OTI. Train company employees on safe work practices. Enforce minimum safety standards, including disciplining employees and subcontractors who fail to comply. Proactively identify potential future safety risks and recommend or implement appropriate countermeasures. What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role 8+ years of experience in EH&S roles within manufacturing, industrial, or high-growth environments. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations applicable to structural steel and construction work. Strong communication and listening skills — able to take in feedback from the employee's perspective without passing judgment. A hands-on, proactive approach to solving safety challenges. Excellent recordkeeping abilities for all safety-related activities. Prior experience with controlled documentation and documentation change management. Working knowledge of the skilled trades involved in steel fabrication and erection, enabling you to design and implement effective safety solutions. Ability to access heights via ladders or scaffolding to evaluate work performed above ground level.
