Generator Service Technician

Job Description Job Description GenReady Inc. is one of the largest Generac dealers on Long Island and we are seeking a Generator Service Technician to join our team! Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of small engines, specifically Generac Home Stand-by Generators.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive maintenance such as checking and adding oil, replacing oil and air filters, doing valve adjustments and spark plug changes.

Prepare and Complete accurate work orders for repairs/maintenance
Estimate time and extent of repairs
Troubleshooting and diagnostic testing
Maintain material inventory
Additional duties as assigned
​ Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields required
Previous experience working on residential generators preferred but not required
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Deadline and detail-oriented
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Prior trade school experience is a plus
Must have a valid drivers license
