Job Details Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora – CO Department: Orthopedics FTE: Full Time, 0.900, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Note: This is an onsite role only; hybrid or remote options are not offered. Pay $40.86 – $63.33 per hour, depending on relevant experience. Night Shift Incentive Program: $1,600 quarterly ($6,400 per year) to full‑time night shift RNs and LPNs. Responsibilities Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritizes wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Welcomes new knowledge in a fast paced, innovative clinical environment. Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity. Uses AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards as part of evidence based care models for each unit. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑of‑nursing‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state‑board‑of‑nursing‑approved program within three years of assuming the Charge RN position. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum of one year of nursing experience. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date; card must remain current through sixty days of hire.
