Wellness Nurse Practitioner OpportunityCopper Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery has been providing premier aesthetic skin care services to Northern Michigan for over a decade. As the only medical spa in Northern Michigan backed by an award winning, board-certified plastic surgeon—Dr. Jeffries—we're able to offer a variety of treatments to meet patient goals. We are focused on contributing to the confidence and empowerment of our patients by providing the most trusted aesthetic treatments in our region.We are looking for a Wellness Nurse Practitioner to join our clinic in Petoskey &/or Traverse City. This individual will be the leader in wellness and manage patients along their health journey through various holistic means including but not limited to hormone therapy, weight loss management, peptides, etc. Responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic care including taking medical histories, performing examinations, developing a treatment plan, and performing procedures and lab draws.Work Schedule:Monday and Wednesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Every other week Monday and Tuesday in Petoskey 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. Schedule negotiable based on needs of clinic.Qualifications2 years wellness, hormone therapy, OB/GYN, or nutrition experience.Graduate of accredited N.P. program.Essential Skills and AbilitiesAbility to assess, treat and educate patients on overall health and wellness topics.Possesses wide-ranging knowledge of health and pathology.Excellent communication skills.Good problem solving and analytical skills.Ability to work as a team member.Well-organized with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Treats patients and co-workers with respect.Empathetic with patient's needs and concerns.Ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs regarding patient treatment.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement treatment plans for patients seeking to have a better quality of life within their health, wellness, and fitness journey.Ensure an exceptional patient experience by delivering the highest standard of care, promoting patient satisfaction and well-being.Conduct evaluations and assessments. Order and review lab results.Educate patients on health conditions, treatment options and health lifestyle choices.Provide counseling and support to patients.Administer medications and injections following established protocols.Collaborate with clinical leadership to create and refine protocols for new services as the clinic expands.Stay informed and serve as a subject matter expert on wellness and aging, keeping up-to-date with clinic offerings, products, and services.Copper Aesthetics is part of Cosmetic Physician Partners.
