Support Lead Part Time

Position Type: Hourly Position Starting At: $16.42 Responsibilities Ensure all crew members provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. Train crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience. Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring effective duty performance and excellent customer service. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock on the sales floor. Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issue resolution. Manage opening and closing procedures: secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prepare the store for daily operation. Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates, improving performance through store policies, product knowledge, and procedures. Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service. Partner with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery. Perform store maintenance, including garbage removal, sweeping, bathroom cleaning, and stock room upkeep. Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent. College experience preferred. Minimum 1 year of management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task. Creative thinking and maintaining composure under pressure. Essential Job Functions Operate cash registers frequently. Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove items up to 5–10 feet high. Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and store stock. Stand or kneel, bend, twist, and stoop for work in stock rooms and sales floors. Communicate with customers via telephone and face‑to‑face; provide accurate information. Use the sales floor to assist customers and manage stock recovery. Work a flexible, often irregular schedule: days, evenings, weekends, overnight, and travel as required. Read and adhere to email and printed instructions for merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs. Remain upright for approximately 80% of the shift.
