Team Read - Teen Reading Coaches

Teen Reading Coach
Renton Team Read is an after-school reading program that hires, trains, and pays teens from the Renton Teacher Academy and the Renton Aspiring Educators to work as paid reading coaches (tutors) one-on-one with 2nd and 3rd graders at Campbell Hill Elementary who are not yet reading at grade level.
Reading coaches help develop and improve the reading skills of elementary students. Team Read will provide the training and materials you need to be a great Reading Coach.
Programing is Tuesday and Thursday (weekly, excluding holidays and breaks) from 3:15pm-4:45pm and serves Campbell Hill Elementary School students.
Team Read provides an opportunity to make a difference in your community, make an impact on a young person's life, and gain experiences you can use the rest of your life while getting paid. Team Read provides workshops on job related skills to take with you on your next career move. Reading Coaches are also given a letter of recommendation and are put into the Team Read Alumni network after graduation to receive ongoing communications and Team Read employment/volunteer information.
