Location: Philadelphia, PA or Remote Duration: 6 months CTH

Gather functional and business requirements from client and translate into a functional hosted solution design, which meets customer needs, provides maximum solution value, and is within scope of Apptio products/services. Configure, test, & document Apptio Dashboard, reports and underlying data models to meet function design and specifications. Responsible for administering and day to day managing of system ie production support, reporting development cycles, including business requirements design solutioning, test management, integration strategy, deployment and training. Own end to end the monthly calendar for the Apptio system, responsible for monthly opening and closing of the forecast, supporting the monthly close process, annual/strategic plan and associated dashboard reporting. Conduct data quality and gap analysis, develop a maturity plan and collaborate with data source owners on data sets. Leverage financial tools (TM1, Cognos, Clarity, Apptio, Jira, etc...) to fullest extent, in report generation, as a financial ecosystem, prioritizing and executing on the strategic bow, creating roadmap, tool strategies and SOPs. Responsible for delivering global Apptio system integration, enhancements and optimization capabilities for dashboard reporting including integrations with Clarity Time Tracking, PeopleSoft Fixed Asset Register, People Soft Department Tree, PeopleSoft Account Tree, Service Now CMBDs etc. Provide technical support to the team in relation to monthly data loads, monitoring integrity of data, analysis and maintenance of reference data (cost center hierarchy, basis tables) and mapping issues, solutioning of data errors etc. Monitor control dashboard that focuses on input and output of data reconciliations and controls, quickly escalating issues, troubleshooting and solutioning. Works with IT leaders to develop & deliver data capabilities needed for Apptio tools, streamlining overall system architecture including configuration and components and ensures usability/functionality of components. Provides monthly team training in support of daily Apptio use and in support of new Apptio product enhancement releases with an exceptional focus on user experience. Provides new reporting capabilities and support strategic vision around monthly reporting needs. Import, transform and rationalize data from systems of record (People Softs, Fixed Assets, etc) into selected tools / upstream systems (TM1, Qlik etc), understanding system integration points and impacts on production. Install and configure datalink, verify data is auto loaded and transformed to Apptio. Participates in collaborative efforts with finance leads, service lines, Reporting COE and PMO to drive improved communication and shared direction. Performs regression testing on existing reports coupled with unit and system testing on new/changed reports. Provide weekly status reports on system modifications and/or usage with strategic guidance on tool functionality that streamlines use. Engage with development teams to lead formal release management, meticulous quality validation with focus on ensuring system improvements are successful implemented. Responsible for improving and enhancing use of the Apptio Platform through automation, data configuration, allocation changes, existing report updates and new report creation.

Qualifications: External team player with solid communication and presentation skills. Ability in handling and understanding large data sets, and experience in data analysis. Knowledge and experience with financial planning and analysis as well as data controls and governance. Knowledge of Excel Formulas for Data Manipulation, Creating Charts/Dashboards/Pivot Tables, excel VBA scripting and basic SQL querying. Prior experience in managing Apptio for clients, on a monthly basis and with managing client stakeholders. RTBMA / ETBMA Certified by Apptio (R12) (can be earned on the job). Experience in Apptio Configuration (Modeling & custom dashboard creation). Operational knowledge of IT infrastructure domains including Data Centers, Network/communications, Servers (Physical/Virtual), Storage and Application Development/Support. Operational knowledge of IT Infrastructure domains including CapEx, Opex, Actual, Budget, Forecast. ITIL Foundation certified a plus. Experienced in working with Onshore teams in area of Requirements gathering etc. Ability to work without supervision & take ownership of task.
