Bankruptcy Associate | New York (Hybrid 3 days in) – Up to $235k Base
Location/Schedule: New York (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Base Salary: Up to $235k (plus performance incentives)
Practice: Bankruptcy – Sophisticated Chapter 11, Chapter 7, creditor representation, debtor workouts, and complex commercial bankruptcy litigation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent creditors, debtors, and committees in Chapter 11 reorganizations and Chapter 7 liquidations.
- Draft motions, adversary complaints, proofs of claim, and bankruptcy court pleadings.
- Handle discovery, depositions, and contested hearings in complex commercial bankruptcy cases.
- Advise clients on workouts, preference actions, and restructuring strategies.
Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):
- JD and active NY bar (additional jurisdictions a plus).
- 5–15+ years of bankruptcy or related commercial litigation experience with strong drafting skills.
