Our Technical Assemblers preform various duties such as building electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies for lasers along the side of team members that influence the future of laser technology. Duties Assemble fiber-optical and mechanical subassemblies following engineering drawings and work instructions. Perform optical fiber preparation, fiber splicing, and related assembly tasks. Conduct incoming inspection of components and materials to ensure compliance with product specifications. Perform basic functional testing and inspection of completed assemblies. Document assembly, inspection, and test results in accordance with company procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety and quality requirements. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production and continuous process improvements. Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed are essential functions of this position. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or experience in electronics, optics, fiber optics, or a related field preferred. Experience with precision assembly, soldering, fiber splicing, or electro-optical component assembly. Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures. Basic computer and data entry skills. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small, precision components. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime as needed are essential functions of this position.
