Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $3100 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required with 1 month within the last 24 months (2 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required after submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live>75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Dartmouth Hitchcock and no current placement allowed at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Dartmouth Hitchcock.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.Must have telemetry experience.Experience with chest tubes, tubes, drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone, lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, trachs/laryngectomies, complex wounds, and central line care/maintenance with blood draws required.

Unit Details:Primarily medical rather than surgical patients, including sepsis, infectious processes, acute kidney injury or chronic kidney disease (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), diabetes, GI issues, fluid/electrolyte imbalances, alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, substance misuse, endocarditis, heart disease, skin/wound issues, and acute/chronic respiratory illness including COPD, flu, pneumonia, and cystic fibrosis.Adult cystic fibrosis patients requiring admission are cared for on Medical Specialties.

Shift&Scheduling:Rotating 12-hour shifts: 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00.Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.On-call required.

Special Requests:You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit&shift at the same facility). Example: if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit&facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit&facility.

7 days maximum time off
