About the Role
As a Patient Transport Driver at Mahoning Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team, transporting patients safely and efficiently throughout our 142-bed community. As a Patient Transport Driver, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents and their families, while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Safely transport patients to and from various appointments, treatments, and activities
Ensure patient safety and comfort during transport
Document transportation records accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with nursing and healthcare staff to ensure smooth transportation processes
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have experience transporting patients
Ability to lift, push, or pull patients and equipment as needed
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations within the community
Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
