As a Front End Engineer Senior, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the MPO customer. You will play a crucial role in enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.

Role responsibilities

Support multiple tools to include a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished products and a system for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners around the world. Collaborate with top tier teams to drive 508 accessibility of the current interfaces as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
• US citizenship required
• Required technical skills:
• Java 8+
• Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
• GWT
• Angular
• Primefaces
• Quarkus
• Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Additional desired technical skills may include experience with:
• Proficiency with screen readers
• 508/WAI-ARIA knowledge
• Oracle
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Agency reporting and dissemination tools
• Agency classification policies
• Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence

The likely salary range for this position is $121,975 - $165,025. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
