MRI Technologist

MRI Technologist IThe MRI Technologist I cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education:High School Diploma/ GEDGraduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.Licensure/ Certification:BLS American Heart AssociationARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or must obtain within one year of hire if not currently registered.Other Skills/ Knowledge:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience:2 years' radiography experience.1 year MRI experience.Licensure/ Certification:American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) registeredOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
