About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Holding Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Cardiac Telemetry experience required EPIC experience required Description: This position involves caring for patients undergoing various cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring patients recovering from TEE, cardioversions, PCI, diagnostic heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular procedures, pacemakers, cardiac ablation, structural heart procedures, and loop recorder insertions. The nurse will need to manage arterial lines, provide BiPAP/CPAP management, and administer blood products as necessary. Essential skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, and the management of cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration. The nurse must be adept at managing IVs, PICC lines, and post procedure care. Candidates should have experience with renal failure management and be proficient in using rapid response or code teams. The role may require floating to different units as needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and adherence to strict attendance policies.
