About the Role:

Clem's Seafood is looking for a skilled and passionate Fish Cutter to join our team in beautiful Southport, NC! This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a fast-paced seafood environment.

Responsibilities:

Clean, fillet, and portion fresh fish and seafood products to specification

Operate cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently

Inspect seafood for freshness and quality standards

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work station

Follow proper food handling and safety protocols at all times

Package and label seafood products accurately for retail or wholesale

Assist with receiving and storing incoming seafood inventory

Requirements:

Prior experience in fish cutting, seafood processing, or a related role preferred

Knowledge of various fish species and proper filleting techniques

Ability to work in cold, wet environments for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe a plus)

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
